Car Fuel Saving Tips, You May Find Useful

1. Shift to Neutral When Stopped.
Notice that shifting your automatic or manual transmission into neutral calms down your engine note and drops the rpm. That saves gas. Shift into neutral even for a long traffic light.

2. Don't Rev the Engine Before Shutting Off the Ignition
Many of us learned to do this on carburetor-equipped engines in the belief that stomping the gas pedal as we turned off the switch would "prime" the carb (put a jolt of gasoline in its bowl). Most of the time, it did little or no good even for a carbureted engine.
For today's fuel-injected engines, it's a complete waste of fuel. Not only that, but the final spurt of gasoline also winds up dumped on the cylinder walls where it can wash away the essential lubricant, paving the way for increased wear.

AMERICA WAR ON SYRIA

We all know that the old boys club are up to it again, oh yeah, same reason - chemical weapons usage by the Syrian regime to destroy thousands of their citizens , this is despite no conclusive evidence and incomplete investigation by the UN.

My take is this, the Americans and their boys are wrong again on this one, just like they were wrong on Libya and Iraq which after the US involvement , are now largely dysfunctional , divided and chaotic countries, thanks to the civilised western involvement.

Anyway, I want to know if you support this aggression from America against Syria or vice versa.

Obama Wins Backing From Key Congressmen For Strike In Syria

President Barack Obama won the backing of key figures in the U.S. Congress, including Republicans, in his call for limited U.S. strikes on Syria to punish President Bashar al-Assad for his suspected use of chemical weapons against civilians.

Speaking after the United Nations said two million Syrians had fled a conflict that posed the greatest threat to world peace since the Vietnam war, Obama said the United States also has a broader plan to help rebels defeat Assad's forces.

In remarks that appeared to question the legality of U.S. plans to strike Syria without U.N. backing, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said the use of force is only legal when it is in self-defense or with Security Council authorization.

Serving Royal: Prince Harry readies himself for duties in Afghanistan during one of his two deployments to the war-torn nation
Prince Harry was frantically rushed into a heavily secured safe-house during the Camp Bastion raid of September 2012 as 15 heavily armed Taliban soldiers ran amok in the British base, a new report claims.
The fourth-in-line to the British throne was serving at the base in Afghanistan when fighters dressed in U.S. Army uniforms unleashed a ground assault on September 14th and destroyed or damaged eight aircraft worth a total of $200 million.
Two U.S. Marines also lost their lives in the melee described as 'the worst loss of U.S. air-power in a single incident since the Vietnam War' and Captain Harry Wales, identified as a legitimate military target by the Taliban, survived the four hour battle that raged inside the base which had been thought to be impregnable.
