BlackBerry Z10 review

One cannot overstate the importance of this phone. This, the BlackBerry Z10, is the device upon which the fate of BlackBerry (formerly Research in Motion) hangs. That's not to say that the company will disappear if the Z10 -- and the BlackBerry 10 OS that it contains -- is not a mass-market success. But if this phone does not do its job of extending the reach of the 'Berry OS beyond those die-hard loyalists who have clung on to their Bolds and Torches and Storms, it's safe to say that BlackBerry is in for some very hard times.

The company hasn't exactly bet the proverbial farm on this BB10 release, but with massive financial losses tempered only by job cuts, plus an absolutely tectonic shift among the executive leadership and corporate culture architected by CEO and President Thorsten Heins, the phrase "make or break" feels pretty apt. So, then, is this the phone that's good enough to woo buyers away from the Galaxy S III or the iPhone 5 or any of the other delicious devices on the other platforms? The short answer is that no, as of now it isn't quite -- but of course it's a lot more complicated than that. Join us as we explore.

Cheap Android Phones - Price & Specs

Android phones are gaining in popularity globally. Its popularity is largely due to its adoption by most mobile phone manufacturers as their platform of choice and the cheap cost of Android phones. Some of the reasons why Android seems popular to phone manufacturers include that it is open with little restrictions giving OEMs the liberty to be creative and differentiate their devices.

Tecno Phantom Pad Specs & Price - N9 Android Tablet

Tecno Phantom Pad (a.k.a Tecno N9) is an 8.0-inch Android tablet with fast processors and fast internet for your entertainment and communications. It is the first tablet from Tecno and looking at the price and specs of this device compared with that of competitors, it seems Tecno is leading the fight against the over-pricing of tablets in Nigeria.

8-inch Android Tablet

With Tecno now building 5-inchers, it was only a matter of time before they land a tablet, the Phantom Pad is that tablet and is more or less like an enlarged Tecno Phantom A+. It features a reasonable 1.2GHz quad-core processor, which on paper is more powerful that the dual-core processors on latest generation Samsung Galaxy Tab while still coming at up to 15,000 Naira cheaper, making it probably the best value tablet in Nigeria right now.

Tecno Phantom Pad runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which should offer decent performance with 1GB RAM. You can make cellular calls and SMS on the Phantom Pad. The tablet also supports 2 SIMs, probably the first dual-SIM tablet we have published on this site.

The 8.0-inch display is bright and crisp with 768 x 1024 pixels resolution. The Tecno Phantom Pad features 2 cameras; a 5 megapixels camera with 720p HD video recording and flash at the back and 2 megapixels front facing camera for videocalling on Skype and similar services.

Tecno M7 Specs & - 5-inch Android

Looking for a low cost 5-incher? Consider the Tecno M7. It is an upgrade to the Tecno N7. The processor has been beefed-up and the RAM doubled. So, it should run smoothly on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Tecno M7 also features a better display and camera. All these improvements you get at the same price as the N7.

The Hardware & Software

Tecno M7 features a 1.3GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, which should run Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) for a decent performance for browsing, gaming and apps.

Tecno M7 comes pre-loaded with Facebook, Opera Mini, Twitter with loads of Google Apps like GMail, Google+, Google Talk, YouTube and over 600,000 apps available for download at the Google Play Store.

Display & Camera

Tecno M7 spots a 5.0-inch touch display with a little more pixels added with 480 x 854 px resolution, which should make the M7's display slightly better than the N7.

How To Fix a Slow or Unstable Windows 7 computer

This article assumes you are running Microsoft Windows 7 or, at least, a Windows operating system. Your system may have similar stuff with exact name or different name or location.
Having a computer is one thing, ensuring its maintenance is another. Most people always wonder why their computer seems to be running slow or behaving weird. They forget, that like a car, a computer also needs maintenance. There are certain steps you can take, to ensure a faster running, secure and more efficient computer operation.

Windows 7 is a powerful and fast Operating System (OS). When it starts acting funny and slow, it's an indication that something is going wrong. There are various things that could cause it. Such as;

1. Unnecessary startup programs running in the background.
2. Hard disk fragmented & in Need of Being Defragmented.
3. Hard disk errors may be corrected with "Check Disk".
4. Hard disk needing "Clean Up".
5. Adware & Spyware.
6. Windows registry issues.
7. Viruses.
8. Anti-Virus Security Programs.
9. Your PC may need more RAM (random access memory).

How to prevent spam comments on blogs

What can I do about all this comment spam?
Automated spam is nothing new and since most WordPress sites allow commenting on at least blog posts, they become a target. Fortunately, there are simple measures that can be taken to keep this from becoming a massive problem. What follows is a two-fold approach that myself and others use to cut out nearly all spam with relatively little effort.

Require Moderation

Go to Settings > Discussion and you’ll see all kinds of options WordPress has for cutting down on comment spam. What you see below are some default options that are very helpful, so I recommend sticking with them.
Discussion Options
When Johnny post’s a comment, you get an e-mail then decide to approve the comment for display on your post. When Johnny comments again, his comment will show immediately, because you already trust him. If you want something more strict, check the box always requiring approval. I have never known this to be necessary, however.
