The Day Of Arafat: Muslims Encouraged to Fast

Tomorrow is the Day of Arafat

The most critical day of Hajj. If missed, cannot be compensated for, which is why the Prophet (pbuh) said, "Hajj is Arafah!"

For those outside of Hajj, it was designated as the greatest single day for fasting in the year.

The Prophet (pbuh) said that one who fasts that day and it is accepted, will have the minor sins of the past year and the coming year erased!!!

A female photographer documents her nine months of pregnancy in a unique photoshoot.
Every "baby-expecting" process is an out-and-outer experience. Photographer Sophie Starzenski shows her pregnancy's step-by-step, beautiful progression from beginning to end in "Proyecto Pyokko," a series of maternity pictures that she describes in simple terms as "40 weeks and a mirror."
The Buenos Aires-based artist says "Pyokko" is a nickname for her now-3-month-old son, Simon -- whose disarmingly cute baby face we get to see in due course.

Lecturers At Kogi Polytechnic Charge For 'handouts'

Education was declared a basic right of an individual by the United Nations years ago, and while others around the world took this as a challenge, the Nigerian state is still struggling to make that a reality even for 50% of its population. That notwithstanding, coupled with the defiant nature of the people against what might seem to bring them down, many toil day and night defiling the course of nature in the process just to get quality education which is almost a taboo in this part of the world.

    Controversial Boko Haram Movie Debuts!

A vicious would-be suicide bomber is heading for Nigeria’s vast metropolis of Lagos and only a down-on-her-luck prostitute can stop a horrific attack.

This ominous fiction forms part of “Boko Haram”, a new film by Ghanaian-Nigeria director Pascal Amanfo, which has been banned by censors in Ghana and shunned by cinema owners in Nigeria.
A movie inspired by the very real and brutal Islamist group active in Nigeria was potentially so inflammatory that it was released in the country with the title “Nation Under Siege” to avoid a backlash.
