Policeman Accidently Shoots Colleague Dead On Their Way To Collect N20k Bribe

 


There was a pandemonium Monday as an unidentified policeman attached to the Anti-Kidnap Squad, Delta state police command, killed his colleague while following a suspect to his house to collect N20,000 bribe, SaharaReporters has learnt.

Dr Felix Ekpo was kidnapped today at a govt hospital in Mkpat Enin LGA, Akwa Ibom state.

He was kidnapped @10am 22/2/22 within the hospital premises and whisked away in his car.
This man drives 3hrs daily to go consult his patients in the village and this is the reward he got.

Signing Of Electoral Act Amendment Bill Postponed Till Friday

 


President Muhammadu Buhari will now sign the re-worked Electoral Act Amendment Bill on Friday, February 25.


A source close to the Presidency, who had earlier indicated that the President would assent to the bill on Wednesday, confirmed the new date to Channels Television.

BREAKING: Nigerian Law School, Lagos On Fire Amidst Stampede, Injuries


 A fire outbreak on Wednesday(sic) night, engulfed the Lagos Campus of the Nigerian Law School, located on Ozumba Mbadiwe street, Victoria Island.


A student (eye witness), who confirmed the incident said the fire, suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault, started at around 10 pm from the first floor of the 5-storey building hostel housing the about 1500 law graduates on the Lagos campus.

President Muhammadu Buhari Appoints Bello-koko As NPA’s MD

 


Mr. Mohammed Bello-Koko has been appointed as the substantive Managing Director, MD, of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Lagos Driver Stabs LASTMA Official, Slits His Throat

 


A commercial driver, Ibrahim Yusuf, has been arrested by the police after he allegedly stabbed and slit the throat of Awotola Victor, an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), over enforcement of traffic rules.


The incident reportedly occurred over the weekend at about 3.30 pm at the Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos state.
