Court Upholds Andy Uba As PDP Candidate

A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has ruled that the Ken Emeakaye led Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Anambra State should maintain the status quo pending the final decision of the court.

The court, presided over by justice H.A Nganjiwa ordered that the PDP should recognise the Ejike Oguebego led faction of the party.

It also instructed INEC to identify with the Ejike group that produced Senator Andy Uba as the authentic governorship candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming election in Anambra State.

It could be recalled that a High Court in Awka had restrained Ken Emeakaye from parading himself as the state chairman of the PDP.
